Our Australian Head of Estimating leads all commercial engagement and contract administration, working closely with clients throughout tender and design development stages. Supported by a dedicated estimating team, we maintain disciplined cost control and responsiveness as documentation evolves — ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment before construction commences.

Upon award, each project is overseen by an Australian-based Project Manager who maintains direct accountability through to completion.

We coordinate closely with drafting, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams while liaising directly with site personnel and installation crews to ensure seamless integration on site. Regular site visits, technical oversight, and proactive communication ensure façade packages are delivered and installed efficiently and in alignment with surrounding trades.

FMQ works with a network of experienced subcontract installers and can recommend trusted teams while providing accurate indicative installation pricing during early project stages.

Our in-house drafting department provides advanced 2D and 3D capabilities, producing detailed shop drawings and coordinated documentation aligned with architectural and structural requirements. Drafting operates in close collaboration with our engineering team to ensure build-ability and compliance.

Every façade element is supported by comprehensive engineering verification, including detailed structural strength analysis and performance validation in accordance with Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC). Strict quality assurance and disciplined document control ensure traceability, chain of custody, compliance, and certification readiness.

FMQ operates a dual manufacturing model designed to support both scale and program flexibility.

Through our FMQ-managed international facility, we deliver high-volume production capacity exceeding 1,500sqm per week, with direct oversight of engineering validation, procurement, and quality assurance. The facility is equipped with advanced CNC machinery and a temperature-controlled glazing environment, allowing systems to be structurally glazed and dispatched pre-glazed for improved installation efficiency and quality control.

Complementing this capability, FMQ maintains local manufacturing capacity within Australia to support expedited programs, staged deliveries, and time-critical project requirements. This dual approach provides developers with production certainty, flexibility, and reduced schedule risk — without compromising compliance or performance.
